Mummy ko nahi hain pata...

Saw a movie, that had a song titled: Mummy ko nahi hain pata...

Now, for newbies who hvnt heard this song... it goes something like this....

kehte hain sabhi ke badi hot hoon main,
tell u wht, tequilla ka ek shot hoon main....
magar khayal ye rahe jaara....
mummy ko nahi hain pata...
mummy ko nahi hain pata...
mummy se naaa kehna!!!!
-------------------

points to ponder:
  1. why will someone ever write such a song? (btw, the lyricist for this was one Mr. Mayur Puri)
  2. even if someone does come up with such a crap, why will u as a director want this song in the movie? (Mr. Vivek Agnihotri, are you listening...)

You go and see the movie, (which is not that bad), hear and see this song, come home discussing what a bad song it was.... get up next day....

and,

arghhhhhhhhh..... u start humming...mummy ko nahi hain pata!!!!

which to an extent is true...coz mom doesnt know a lot of things that I do here...and its been one week since I saw the movie, and the song is still in my mind. Mind you, this has nothing to do with the way tanushree dutta was in that song ;)

this is some kind of a thing, that is done a lot in advertising. Either your advt, is very good which will keep it in the minds of people for ever (remember, the one black coffee please advertisement from Sony Erricson) or the advt, is so irritating that it still remains in your mind (no one would have forgotten Andy's Mojo... and although roddick lost in the first round... Andy's Mojo was on everyone's mind right throughout the U S Open)

it works... think about it and you will remember a lot of instances.

To end this, I hope tanushree dutta's mom is not blind...coz then, she will def. know that her daughter is hot (i disagree...but still)

even if god-forbid, she is blind, i hope she is not deaf... coz then she can atleast hear the song...and know how far her daughter has gone :)

Maybe, Vivek Agnihotri decides to make a sequel...

can anyone guess what song will be in that movie???

Mummy ko pata chal gaya....

kyonki mummy ne movie dekh liya!!!!

well, Mr. Mayur Puri, you have competition.... so better start coming up with some good lyrics.

But just one point. Why blame Mr. Puri or Mr. Agnihotri for this "crap". It is known that 'one man's meat is another man's poison', simply put, if you didnt like the song, there will be someone who finds it very good....Just to clarify, I havent seen the movie or heard the song in totality, and I am no fan of it based on what I have heard, but it is not fair to critize someone's creative work, just because it does not appeal to you. These lyrics have been written keeping a certain target audience in mind, and as long as it entertains them, the director and lyricist has done his job.

As for Ms. Dutta, her 'mummy' may/may not know, but it seems that her intention was to ensure that everyone knows that she was "hot", which was the end result.
