@aditya: both have to be subjective terms coz you in your mind must have had thot of a scenario that you will term as a success in your life (maybe its a stage you reach in your career, maybe something else). and love... do I need to define it??
I beg to differ. Even though success came at the price of love, the heart need not break. Love is immortal & still remains alive ... forever, even after the sacrifice.
Love...Love can conquer failure and get you success, but success cannot get you love which is true.
You have love, you have it all...It can motivate you enough to get you to success, but with success alone, you are way up to understand the depth of love.
'success' is useless if you don't have the one you love to share it with. however for true 'love', you must have your partners respect, which cannot be gained by being a failure.
@praveer: if your partner truly loves you, then she would respect you even in times of your failure...in fact, she'll be the only one doing so probably. don't you think so?
hmmm ... interesting question. For questions like this, we all might have our answer, but when a shove comes to a push, only that moment will tell us what we will choose.
But for me too, I will chose love!
@pravs: what has loving someone got to do with whether he/she is a success or a failure?
because, it is how i define 'success'. it is not about getting a job, or completing a task or making lots of money. to have a successful life is to make a positive impact on the world, so that the world (in general) and maybe a person (in particular) would be better off that you were there. only this will redeem you in the eyes of your partner.
I, me, myself...
some say I am quiet...some say I talk a lot.
some say, I was good when they met me first... some say I am good now.
some say this... some say that...
figure it out yourselves, who am i??

@mtalpz: I expected this answer from u :)
"You have achieved success if you have lived well, laughed often and loved much."
Btw, a quick question. Why that broken heart? Love is symbolized by a red blossoming heart in normal cases!
@sal: the question said: success at the price of love...so u were gaining success and losing love, hence the broken heart.

isn't this a paradox?
